OUR MISSION

We are a non-profit, charitable organization founded in 2010 to help raise awareness of Ovarian Cancer for women and to advocate for early detection of the disease. After 16 months of Marlene Wolff’s Stage IV diagnosis in April of 2009, this foundation was created by her husband and her three children to help educate women and medical professionals about the symptoms of the “silent killer”. By helping women become aware of ovarian cancer symptoms, it is our mission that we will be able to make a difference and help them receive early diagnosis before it affects another life. According to the latest numbers from the American Cancer Society, 22,000 women are diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer annually. Of which 80% are diagnosed at stage III or stage IV. The five year survivability for this disease when diagnosed in the latter stages is approximately 15%. When it is diagnosed in the earlier stage I or stage II part of the disease, five year survivability increases to 90%!

With your support, we can save lives!

The funds donated to the foundation will be used for a variety of informational resources to help get Marli’s Message out on an international level. They include an informational website that will be updated weekly, literature that we will place at strategic female locations (health spas, beauty salons, coffee shops…etc.). In addition, the funds will also be used to assist a variety of local cancer charities with their various needs.
